My sculpture, “Migration”, was part of a show of site specific sculptures installed on the
Slocum River Reserve in South Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The Slocum
River Reserve is one many properties in Dartmouth owned, or under
conservation restriction held, by the Dartmouth Natural Resources
Trust (DNRT). The Slocum River Reserve is co-owned with The
Trustees of Reservations (TTOR).
The show was supported by UMD, DNRT, TTOR and the Dartmouth Cultural
Council.
“Migration” was installed in early June 2009, and was up until
mid-March 2010. People interested in knowing more about the piece
are encouraged to contact me.
The project was photographed in all
seasons, weathers, and times of day, by Neil Alexander who shared my
vision of how the piece worked in time.
